It's a good source of potassium, although the gallon bottle does not list it on the label. The smaller bottle lists the potassium level at 9%, which is one of the highest I have seen. I think Mother Hubbard's might be a little higher, but they're comperable. The taste of GB is kind of bitter IMO. It's not bad. It just has a bit of a bite. I think I like Mother Hubbard and Brer Rabbit more, but Brer Rabbit is expensive. This two gallon pack of Golden Barrel is a good value, plus it lasts for years, so I won't worry about it spoiling. I use it every day in my morning coffee.

It is a good value for the money. I like this product's flavor even versus higher priced versions. This has a little more sugar than it, but the overall balance of flavor is excellent regardless. I look forward to all the recipes I can use this in. Great flavor, excellent value.

Excellent molasses ! I give it to my horses three days a week. This is blackstrap which is filled with micronutrients. I have to say- it’s so good that I always have a taste myself when I am prepping their meals.

I have health issues. After reading about this product, I decided to order it. I have very severe potassium deficiency and every night I get terrible spasms in my feet where I would have to jump out of bed. After three days of 1-2 tablespoonfuls in the morning and night, my spasms have almost disappeared. I feel alot more energetic. I feel good overall, which is a huge upgrade from normal. Digestive function seems to have normalized also. This stuff is a miracle for me. I recommend it absolutely.

I love how this molasses tastes. I’ve used it to make brown sugar to feed various fermented foods and garden inputs as well as to stabilize various probiotic skincare products I make and use. I also use it nutritionally to boost my B vitamin and iron levels by dissolving a tsp or two in hot water as needed. The homemade ginger beer I made using this molasses had a delightful and almost floral finish as compared to other molasses brands (grandmas, plantation, and Benton’s).
